In pursuing my writing will I be successful? (Carin)

A difficult decision... A struggle to find inspiration... Not the best cards you might have hoped for! But don't let these put you off; as always, tarot exists for making us confront challenges and unexpected possibilities.

In pursuing your writing, what are you putting aside? The cards suggest a difficult, problematic choice that may not take you quite where you want to go. Are there other things that you are giving up in order to write? (A relationship, perhaps?) There's a possibility that a better, easier, more satisfying alternative is available to you in what you are about to give up.

Artistically, there's a sense here of a quest that hasn't quite got off the ground. It's as if you haven't found the direction yet that you need to explore. There is plenty of energy, but the form or direction into which this should be channelled doesn't seem clear. It might be worth considering whether the correct direction lies in exploring topics with your writing that have to do with spiritual themes, or with awakening and inspiring others.

In summary, the cards refuse to show a clear picture of what lies ahead, but they do address some of the obstacles that have to be overcome. Beware of sacrificing too much in order to write; and give some thought to the idea that although it may be you have found your calling, the direction in which you should take it in order to be successful is not yet by any means clear.

I hope this turns out to be helpful!
